Maharaja Agrasen, the grandfather of the Agrawal society, was born in the Dhapar era. In the last phase, Ashwin Shukla Pratipada i.e. on the first day of Navratras, his birthday is celebrated as Agrasen Jayanti by Agarwal Samaj with pomp. Maharaja Agrasen was born as the eldest son of King Vallabh and Mata Bhagwati of Pratap Nagar in Suryavanshi Kshatriya clan, who later built the Agrawal Samaj and established Agroha Dham. It is also said about Maharaja Agrasen ji that, at the time of his birth, the great sage Garga had told his father Maharaj Vallabh that he would become a great ruler in future and a new governance system would emerge in his kingdom. And his name will remain immortal for ages. This is what happened in the future and till date Maharaja Agrasen ji is remembered. Let us tell you that Maharaja Agrasen was a person of very kind and compassionate nature, whose heart was full of compassion for animals, birds and animals including humans, this was the reason that he declared animal sacrifice etc. wrong in religious rituals. He had left his Kshatriya religion and established Vaishya religion.Apart from this, he was a great king who always thought about the welfare of his subjects, whose fame was spread as a beloved king.

Whereas in the 18th Yajna, when it came to animal sacrifice, Maharaja Agrasen, the founder of Agroha Dham of Pratapnagar, strongly opposed it and thus stopped animal sacrifice in the last war.
